In the UK, solicitors are three times more likely to have attended a fee-paying or independent school and are half as likely to come from a lower socio-economic background. We want to change this.

Step 1

Identify what you need financial assistance for, why you need it and how you are going to use it. Check whether we can assist with your request.
Step 2
Check eligibility and exclusions
Review the eligibility criteria and exclusions before you proceed.
Step 3
Submit your application
Should you meet the eligibility criteria, we encourage you to submit your application. Please take the time to thoughtfully consider each question and respond honestly and to the best of your ability.
Step 4
Contact your referee
You are required to provide one academic or professional reference. After you submit your application, you will receive a template email you can send to your referee.
Step 5
Application review
After we have received your reference, our trustees will review your application. This process can take up to 45 days, so please submit your application in good time. We will email you the outcome of your application.
